Utökad information om evenemanget
PALYANYTSIA is a documentary film that explores how war transforms people, identities and values. Through the journey of two Ukrainian artists travelling across a country at war, the film offers a powerful and deeply personal perspective on resilience, humanity and the search for meaning in times of crisis. As Russia’s war against Ukraine continues to shape millions of lives, the film raises questions that extend far beyond the battlefield: How do people preserve their humanity when confronted with destruction and uncertainty? How are identity, values and personal responsibility affected when war becomes part of everyday life? And what enables individuals and communities to remain resilient in prolonged adversity? Through the language of art, PALYANYTSIA invites reflection on the human consequences of war and the choices each of us can make to contribute to a better future. The screening will be introduced by Svitlana Zalishchuk, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Sweden.
