Democracy meant in the beginning what we today call direct democracy. In a direct democracy, the people are actively involved in deciding on various issues. The more "voices" that are involved and provide well-founded input, the better, the more fair and inclusive we can hope for the AI ​​of the future to be. This is a democratic issue that we all have to take responsibility for. AI is no longer the future – it’s here and now. Those who understand and use AI have an advantage, both in their professional and private lives. At the same time, many feel uncertain: How does it actually work?

The world is facing a period of change where we globally face a number of challenges. The role of Europe is also changing. The earlier role will not be the same in the future.

In the seminar youth from six countries will discuss the future with decision makers from Europe. The panel will focus on how the situation for young people looks today. What opportunities exist to be able to have an influence on their own lives? Possibilities to participate in the development of democracy, equality and justice? It is important to create visions and dreams of democracy and the future of Europe. The discussion will focus on and why it is important to work over the boarders for youth to be active in the democratic process. Earlier has EU commission underlined that the youth has an important role in Europe to create a better and greener future that also is inclusive and digital. How will the role for young people be in a Europe with the global changes we now are facing? Youth must play a more important role in discussions about the future. To work together is an opportunity to move forward with confidence and hope.
