Beskrivning av samhällsfrågan

As AI transforms the global economy, countries are competing for talent, innovation and technological leadership at an unprecedented scale. For Sweden, this raises new questions about how international partnerships will shape future competitiveness — and what role India could play.

Utökad information om evenemanget

AI is rapidly reshaping economies, industries and global power structures. As competition for talent, technology and innovation accelerates, countries like Sweden — with strong research and innovation ecosystems — face growing pressure to strengthen their international position. At the same time, India is emerging as a global AI powerhouse through major investments in digital infrastructure, entrepreneurship, research and technology talent. This creates new opportunities — but also strategic questions — for countries seeking to remain competitive. Following recent initiatives launched during the Indian Prime Minister’s visit to Gothenburg, this panel explores how collaboration between Sweden and India could contribute to future research, innovation and industrial development. The discussion will examine opportunities in research collaboration, talent exchange and industrial innovation — and how Sweden should position itself in a rapidly changing global AI landscape.
