Beskrivning av samhällsfrågan
Pandemics, climate crises, conflicts, and migration have shown that education is one of society’s most vulnerable systems. The question is no longer if children’s learning will be disrupted, but how we ensure that education can continue even when society is under severe pressure.
Utökad information om evenemanget
AI and digital tools are creating new opportunities to build flexible, resilient educational solutions that improve access to learning, support teachers, and help students continue to grow and develop, even in times of uncertainty. At the same time, this development raises important questions about pedagogy, critical thinking, and how technology can be used to strengthen rather than replace human capability and independent thought. This seminar explores how Sweden can build the resilient education systems of the future, drawing on both Swedish experiences and lessons from Ukraine, where digitalization and AI are being used to enable continued learning during the ongoing crisis and war. The discussion brings together representatives from business, civil society, and the public sector to examine how education can become a central part of Sweden’s long-term preparedness, innovation capacity, and competitiveness.
