Mobile networks are critical infrastructure in any modern society. In times of crisis and armed conflict, they become essential not just for communication, but for coordination, public safety, and national resilience. At the same time, they face increased vulnerability to attacks and misuse.

This seminar explores how mobile networks function in times of war and crisis, drawing on concrete experiences from Ukraine. What can Sweden and other countries learn from the Ukrainian example, and what is Sweden doing today to safeguard its digital infrastructure? How can societies better protect and leverage their mobile infrastructure in a rapidly changing security landscape? The CTO of Ukraine’s largest telecom operator, Kyivstar, will join a high-level panel featuring Carl-Oskar Bohlin, Sweden’s Minister for Civil Defense, Haval van Drumpt, CEO, Tre Sverige and cybersecurity expert Harri Larsson.
